Bonsai services available include:
REPOTTING
Why repot? Every bonsai needs repotting periodically to ensure its vitality throughout its lifetime. Depending on the age and species of your tree, most bonsai trees should be repotted every 2-5 years.
Repotting services include:

removal of existing, old soil

root pruning your bonsai

cleaning the trunk and nebari (surface roots) of any moss, etc

positioning and securing your tree in the pot with fresh bonsai soil
-
inoculate the rootzone with mycorrhiza, a beneficial fungus for optimal root health
-
treatment of your newly repotted bonsai with Superthrive, a unique vitamin hormone solution to reduce transplant shock and quickly restore your tree's vigor
-
cleaning of your bonsai pot, or you can replace your container at an additional cost
-
provide 10-14 days of the appropriate aftercare for your tree
MAINTENANCE, GROOMING AND STYLING
We will review your existing bonsai specimen, then recommend and perform adjustments which may include wiring, pruning, and species specific work, i.e. ficus and maple defoliation, pine de-candling, jin (deadwood) creation and treatment, etc.
***Cost - $25 first hour, $20 for second and successive hours (small additional charge if copper wire is needed)
INITIAL DESIGN AND STYLING
We will closely examine the different components of your unstyled tree or plant material, then determine and complete all the necessary work resulting in an aesthetically pleasing bonsai specimen.
